The Hunter Family Vacation

Andy and I took the girls to Maui at the end of June. My sister was getting married and we decided she needed some family on her side during the ceremony (and it didn't hurt that we had enough capitol one miles to fly for free and a free place to stay) so we packed up and took our very first family vacation.

I think it took Andy a couple of days to realize that a vacation with children is much different than the vacations we were used to, sans children. We drove up to see the crater...it was fogged in...Natalie got car sick. We drove the road to Hana...car wouldn't start when we were ready to leave...Georgia got car sick.

We also saw the blowhole and the olivine pools.

The Banyan Tree which is the amazingly huge tree that takes up a city block.

Andy tested out his boogie boarding skills,

the girls and I played in the pool

and we enjoyed a wonderful beach wedding. We had a great time, were exhausted but tan, and are glad to be home.
